Currently, he is a full-time professor dedicated to teaching and researching – 40 hours at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Escola de Comunicações e Artes (ECA). He is the profes- sor responsible for the subject Advertising Theory/Techniques in the undergraduate course Advertising and Marketing. At the Graduate Program in Ciências da Comunicação (PPGCOM), he is a professor since 2007, supervising masters’ and doctoral students. He has experience in the Communication area, with emphasis on Advertising Language, working with the following themes: aesthetics and consumption, meaning production in advertising and marketing, enunciation and reception studies in advertising language, and consumption practices. He was the coordinator of PPGCOM/USP from 2013 to 2017 and president of Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Publicidade (ABP2) from 2010 to 2015.
